Yes I sure did!
I've been much more focused on reading and writing than crafting. All I really do now is knit and crochet. What I need to do is start a writing and reading blog :)

First post
Well it is about frickin' time don't you think? I finally got around to making a blog for all the crazy awesome stuff I have learned. If I have time to maintain it, it should be a great read.

Things I learned the past few days:
~I can indeed [aint. who knew? (not me!)
~can draw myself from photos
~can paint over existing images using a tissue paper application when Gesso is nowhere in site
~that you can make your own gesso, but mine failed
~postage stamps are awesome
~I can draw without looking at something, but it won't be as detailed etc as I usually can get
~6 words is all you need to make a compelling short story accompanied by an image
~dark poetry can be "found" in any magazine and it is so much fun
~I can tweak and write my own crochet patterns and make some cool stuff.
~that my hubby feels I am "out of control" haha :)
